Terms of Service

Terms governing your use of CIBC digital banking services and this website.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CIBC digital banking services and this website, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree with any provision, you should discontinue use of these services. These terms supplement the specific agreements governing individual banking products and services.

Digital Banking Services

CIBC digital banking services are provided for the convenience of authorized business account holders. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials, monitoring account activity, and reporting unauthorized transactions promptly. CIBC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue digital services with appropriate notice.

Account Holder Responsibilities

Account holders are responsible for ensuring that all information provided to CIBC is accurate and current, safeguarding access credentials, reviewing account statements promptly, and reporting discrepancies within the specified timeframe. Multi-user account access requires that administrators manage role assignments and permissions appropriately.

Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on this website and within CIBC digital banking belong to Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without written permission is prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

CIBC provides digital services on an "as is" basis. While we maintain high availability and security standards, CIBC is not liable for service interruptions, data transmission errors, or unauthorized access resulting from client-side security failures. Specific liability provisions are governed by your product agreements.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Disputes will be resolved through the dispute resolution mechanisms outlined in your product agreements.

Changes to Terms

CIBC may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of digital services after notification of changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through digital banking notifications and email.
